Humanitarian Aid: Ways to Give

A key aspect of our mission is to provide humanitarian aid for children in countries where we now work, as well as those where we have worked in the past.

The gifts you provide help meet urgent needs large and seemingly small - from major renovations to fixing a hot water pipe that delivers heat in the winter for an entire orphanage. There are numerous ways to make a gift to the agency. If you have any questions, please call Joanna Joyce at 781.419.0329.

Here are some ways you can make your gift go farther:

Giving Catalog

There are many donation options for children in need - from a cozy blanket for $20 to a $5,000 adoption subsidy that will help qualified families afford the cost of adoption. Visit our Giving Catalog.

Rainbow Fund

A gift to our humanitarian aid work is an especially meaningful gift to send to someone special. By using the Rainbow Fund, your gift can be given in honor or in memory of someone. You can use the Rainbow Fund throughout the year for any occasion you can imagine: birthdays, Mother's Day and Father's Day, and anniversaries of all kinds. We will send the person(s) you designate a greeting card in which we express our gratitude for the gift you have contributed on their behalf. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that your gift gave twice, to the one you remembered and to the life of a child.

Planned Giving

Remembering Wide Horizons For Children through a direct bequest in a will or a planned financial vehicle are ways to ensure that your commitment to help vulnerable children carries on after you are gone.

Employer Matching

Matching gifts make it easy to increase your gift to WHFC. Please ask your employer if they offer a matching gift form for charitable donations. If they do, just fill in your portion, send it to us and we will do the rest! Also keep in mind that many employers match gifts of retirees or spouses. If you have any questions, call us and we can help.
