The Children
Children enrolled in the Philippines Child Sponsorship program are among 75 special needs children living in one of 10 family-style cottages at Chosen Children Village. These orphaned children will likely never be adopted and require around-the-clock care to provide for their basic needs. Chosen Children Village, operated by Chosen Children, Inc., WHFC's partner in the Philippines, is a model program for the neediest of orphaned children.
We have received profiles of many children who are in need of immediate sponsorship. The children are of all ages, as many of the children placed at Chosen Children Village will grow up there.
The Benefits of Sponsorship
The cost of child sponsorship is just $200 per year per child and the funds go directly to Chosen Children Village to help support a child who would otherwise have little chance at a good life. The funds are used to pay for food, medical care, and education of the child. Once you join, you will receive a photo and profile of the child. During the year you will receive:
- A progress report and picture twice a year
- An annual report of the Village once a year
- A copy of the Village newsletter three times a year
Like our other child sponsorship programs, WHFC works with the dedicated staff at Chosen Children, whose job it is to distribute the funds as needed and to monitor the child's progress. This is a unique opportunity to directly improve the life of a child. We know that sponsorship works as we have witnessed the amazing difference it can make for a child.

Humanitarian Aid
