WHFC Adoption Subsidy Programs

Some children - including sibling groups, older children and those with serious medical conditions - are often harder to place than others. We offer a subsidy program to help qualified families adopt these children. Grants are made available through generous donors who understand the financial commitment facing the many wonderful families who wish to open their homes to these children but are unable to do so without financial assistance.

Hard-to-place children include sibling groups of three or more, children over 5 years of age, WHFC Horizons Kids (Waiting Children) and children adopted through the WHFC China Special Children program. In addition, subsidies are sometimes available for children with other special circumstances.

Every child deserves a permanent, loving home. WHFC adoption subsidies are available through the generosity of donors and vary from year to year. Your gift will allow more children to become part of a loving family. To help change the life of a hard-to-place child, please make a donation to our adoption subsidy program.
