At Wide Horizons For Children, our desire is to match the overwhelming need of children for a family with the equally strong desire that so many people have to bring a child into their life through the journey of adoption. Like many others on our staff who have a personal involvement in adoption, I am an adoptive parent who knows that the work we do with families is life-changing in so many wonderful ways.

We know that the process of adoption can be complicated and deeply emotional. We are committed to providing support that will make this journey as smooth as possible and fulfill your dream. The miracle of adoption is that your dream will provide a secure, bright future for a child that would not otherwise have one.

Adoption is a wonderful option for those who can fully accept, love and care for a child who may be quite different from other family members. Children of all ages and backgrounds need a family. The common link is that every child needs love, commitment, support , understanding and a sense of security. Our goal is to find the right family for each child. Offering many adoption choices works well for children and for adopting parents. We travel regularly to meet with our partners abroad, visit child welfare facilities in each country and assess the need to improve living conditions in orphanages. We are deeply committed to humanitarian aid work that will improve the lives of children waiting for a family or unable to be adopted.
