Kazakhstan Adoption Program
After a period of not processing new dossiers, the Embassy & Consulate of Kazakhstan are again processing new adoption dossiers. However, this process continues to be under review, and therefore remains slow and unpredictable. Wide Horizons For Children has re-opened its Kazakhstan program as a pilot program, and is seeking a limited number of current WHFC families who are homestudy/CIS approved to apply to adopt from Kazakhstan. Interested families should contact Jennifer Doane, Case Manager, at jdoane@whfc.org.
Kazakhstan Program Eligibility Requirements
MARRIED couples with at least one applicant under age 50 may adopt children 16 months or younger, as well as single women
» No more than 2 divorces per applicant allowed.
