Korea Adoption Program

Request an Info Packet

The Wide Horizons For Children Korea program is currently only accepting applications from families of Korean heritage. Interested families must submit the Korea-Specific Risk Acknowledgement along with the required application materials. The program is on hold for all other new applicants.

While we do not know what the future may hold, we will re-evaluate the program as needed to assess whether it might be possible to accept additional applications at some point. In the meantime, you may subscribe to our Korea Hold Email Notification List to receive information about any changes in the status of the program. Details for subscribing to this list can be found in this document.

Children Who Need Families

Boys and girls age 6-12 months, including waiting children, are available, as well as toddlers and twins on occasion. Children are lovingly cared for by foster families or in a Holt facility and receive excellent medical care.

Korea Program Eligibility Requirements

MARRIED couples with at least 3 years of marriage

» Both adoptive parents should be between 25-42 years of age at time of application to the program although there may be flexibility for Korean heritage families. There should be an age difference of no more than 10 years between spouses.
