Wide Horizons For Children has united more than 600 Filipino children with their forever families since 1985. Over the years, this program has become one of the agency's most stable options. Currently, we place 40-50 children per year from the Philippines.

Most people in the Philippines speak English which makes international travel very easy. All adoptions in the Philippines are overseen by a government body, the Intercountry Adoption Board. WHFC is an approved agency by the Intercountry Adoption Board for the placement of Philippine children.

Chosen Children Village

Our liaison office in the Philippines is Chosen Children, Inc., which in addition to aiding in the adoption process, also maintains a facility for children with special needs. A portion of the program fee for adopting from the Philippines goes to help these children who would not otherwise be able to receive the care they need.
