Russia Adoption Program: Accreditation Update

November 29, 2007

Wide Horizons For Children Receives Russia Accreditation

We are pleased to announce that as of November 23, 2007, WHFC is licensed by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

There is an urgent need to for families for children of all ages. Families are encouraged to apply! Families requesting a child up to the age of 18 months are waiting less than 6 months for a referral; the wait can be longer for siblings. We expect the waiting times for single children to shorten very soon.

Our accreditation does not expire, and effective immediately, WHFC will fully resume our adoption activity in all 9 regions where we work including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Tyumen, Ivanovo, Voronezh, Bryansk, and Rostov-on-Don.
