Russia Adoption Program
Children Who Need Families
Boys and girls of all ages and ethnicities are available, including older infants, sibling groups, and waiting children. Families are especially needed for children over the age of 2. Children in Russia are often orphaned through abandonment, relinquishment by the birth parents, or involuntary termination of parental rights. Children are cared for in government-sponsored orphanages, which range in size from housing 40 children up to 100 children.
Russia Program Eligibility Requirements
MARRIED couples and single women; there is no length of marriage requirement
» The adoptive mother should be no more than 45 years older than the child; father preferably no more than 50 years older than the child.
