Russia Adoption Program: Travel

Two or three trips to Russia are required. The first trip ofapproximately one week typically takes place within 1 month from the child's referral. The second trip is usually 3 weeks. The time between trips is approximately 2-4 months, depending on the child's region. Generally, both parents are required to travel on both trips. If an appeal period is enforced, it is not necessary for both parents to remain in Russia. If both parents choose to leave, it will only be necessary for one parent to make a return trip after the appeal period has ended. Families will be met at the airport in Moscow by our representatives and accompanied by them throughout the adoption process in Russia.
