Program Criteria

Marital Status: The Taiwan program is open to couples who have been married for at least 2 years. There can be no more than 1 divorce per applicant.

Age Requirements: Applicants must be between 25-55 years of age, and be at least 20 years older than the child they hope to adopt.

Other: Families with up to 3 children already in the home may adopt children age 5 or older or those with special needs. Applicants should not have more than 3 children in the home.
