Taiwan Adoption Program

WHFC is accepting applications for children age 7 and up only. Children are lovingly cared for in the Chung Yi orphanage and very well prepared for their adoption. Birth families are often involved in the matching process. You will receive in-depth medical, developmental, and birth family information on your child and monthly updates. Regular SKYPE sessions allow you to see and speak with your son or daughter while you are waiting to travel. Since the Taiwan program opened in 2008, 10 children have come home to their adoptive families.

Taiwan Program Eligibility Requirements

MARRIED couples with at least two years of marriage and no more than one divorce per applicant.

» Applicants must be between 25-55 years of age, and be at least 20 years older than the child they hope to adopt.
