United States/Domestic Adoption Program

Wide Horizons For Children has placed close to 700 U.S.-born infants with permanent, loving families through our Domestic program. Families are especially needed for African American infants and children with a health risk or concerns.
Children in the United States become available for adoption through the following program options:

Please note that we are only able to provide services to families living in our full service areas of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, and some counties in New York.
Children Available
Infants of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, as well as Caucasian infants, are adopted through the Domestic program.
Domestic Program Eligibility Requirements
MARRIED couples, single women and men, married gay, lesbian and heterosexual families.
» Although open to any type of family, adoptive parent(s) selected based on expectant parent preferences.
