United States/Domestic Adoption Program: Program Options

Children may become available through WHFC's Direct Placement Program or referrals from other U.S. adoption professionals.

WHFC Direct Placement

WHFC provides counseling services for expectant parent(s) who are considering their parenting options through our Expectant Parent Counseling Program. Options may include parenting or making a voluntary adoption plan. Once an expectant parent selects the voluntary adoption plan, WHFC is able to presents prospective parents profiles.

Agency-Assisted Placement

WHFC often works with other placing agencies and attorneys across the US in the placement of children. Often agencies contact WHFC looking for adoptive family profiles to present to expectant parent(s) for whom they do not have an appropriate family. Sometimes these adoption professionals are identified by the adoptive parent.
