Single Parent Options

Since our founding, Wide Horizons For Children (WHFC) has offered adoption services and program options for single parents. In our commitment to helping children find their forever families, our leading criteria is that we seek individuals who will offer the security of a loving, permanent home. As a single parent, you can expect to be well supported by our experienced clinical and program staff. You will also have the opportunity to speak to other single parents who have adopted through WHFC.

Parent eligibility requirements are set by foreign adoption officials from a given country, not by WHFC. We currently offer several programs that present a viable option for prospective single parents. In fact, when we develop new country/program offerings, we always seek to include options for singles.
