Program News - Families Needed

RUSSIA SUMMER HOST PROGRAM Open your home to an orphan this summer. Families from CT, MA, RI or NH needed for children 5 - 14 years of age. Next summer's application deadline is January 28, 2005. Contact Lisa Summers lsummers@whfc.org or Miranda Bureau mbureau@whfc.org

ETHIOPIA Since October '03, over 44 children have come home. Children of all ages are waiting for their forever families. Contact Almaz Asresahin: ethiopia@whfc.org

INDIA Families are especially needed for toddler age and older children. Contact Homai Schmidt or Eileen Minnucci: india@whfc.org

UKRAINE Fast-moving program offers flexible applicant requirements. Seeking families open to toddlers of either gender. Most applicants make one trip of 3-4 weeks. Contact Erica Pelaccia: ukraine@whfc.org

USA We have a great need for families open to adopting black and bi-racial infants. Contact Cathy Duggan: usa@whfc.org

Other Program News

COLOMBIA Children ages 3-12 and sibling groups; all of whom have resided in private orphanage care or foster care. Detailed medical and developmental information available. Contact Marta Velez: colombia@whfc.org

GUATEMALA Referral process of 2-5 months. Adoption process takes 4-7 months and children remain in private foster care. Contact Mary Morales or Marta Velez: guatemala@whfc.org

KOREA Referrrals in 12 months or longer. Applications for infants not needed at this time, except for families open to considering special needs adoption. Contact Betsey Barrett or Eileen Minnucci: korea@whfc.org

PHILIPPINES Great option for single parents who are open to children age 4 and up. Contact Mary Lou Eshelman: philippines@whfc.org

Help Us Find A Home For This Child
Arjay is a handsome 8.5 year old boy who has sensorineural hearing loss. His expressive language is delayed due to the hearing loss. Recently, Arjay was also diagnosed with a Nephrotic Syndrome for which he is receiving treatment. He is described as a happy and friendly child and he would greatly benefit from having a loving family.
