Celebrating Families Across the United States

We hope that you find this e-newsletter helpful in learning about our programs and adoption options. We are thrilled to have worked with families in every state in the nation and to see our work expand far beyond our North East beginnings. We look forward to another year filled with travel to meet families and agencies in various regions.

For families considering adoption, our programs remain strong; WHFC will place almost 700 children with their forever families across the US this year. We are in great need of families for countries such as Ethiopia, Russia, Kazakhstan and Guatemala, where we have fast-moving programs; and almost 100 waiting and older children are currently on our Horizon Kids list. As always, our staff is eager to answer your questions, and walk you through your various options.

In our continuing efforts to provide high quality information to adopting parents, we are pleased to present our new packet of services and program information. Our staff is readily available to help you assess your options, and many families apply to WHFC before choosing a program. And to give families flexibility, you may apply to multiple programs, a benefit we offer with no additional agency fee.

Please Note: If you have received our application packet, and will be applying after June 30, 2007, we ask that you review the new Adoption Services & Programs packet and submit the new registration form. The Placement Services application you currently have will no longer be valid after that date.

Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions in your own personal journey to adoption.

Family Stories

Our Angel
by Carmen P
What can I say, we have been home for over 3 weeks and Jia feels like she has been here for all of her little life. She is such a gift, I just can't explain the joy she brings into our lives, such a little person, yet so powerful. She smiles at me and my world becomes even more wonderful, she cries and I just want to make her happy, she sleeps and I just want to look at her. Her brothers adore her, and her father, well lets just say she has him wrapped around each and every one of her little fingers.
