Our Families

Bringing children and families together is our greatest joy at Wide Horizons For Children.

The decision to build your family through adoption is life changing. It is not unusual to approach adoption with a mixture of concern and excitement - there is so much to consider. At Wide Horizons For Children we understand that the process may seem intimidating. The fact that we have successfully placed over 9,500 children with permanent, loving parents and that many of our staff are adoptive parents themselves will help put your mind at ease. At WHFC we pride ourselves on keeping our parents completely informed at every stage in the process and providing many opportunities to learn about adoption and meet other families.

Many of our adoptive families stay connected with the agency even after the arrival of their child - through our cultural events, fundraising efforts, as parent mentors or airport greeters or just as friends. Many of our families are adopting for the second or third time. We think this is not only exciting news for families but also a wonderful acknowledgement of the trust in the work of our agency.
