Post Adoption Support and Education

Welcome to Post Adoption Services at Wide Horizons. Often adopted persons, birth relatives and adoptive families return to us to explore their questions about adoption. Whether you have a simple question about how to talk with your child about adoption, or are seeking support in beginning a search process, we are here to guide you. Many of our families have learned about travel opportunities from us or used our intermediary services to communicate with birth families here and abroad. Others have sought counseling, consultation, educational workshops or support groups. Wide Horizons For Children recognizes adoption as a lifelong process. We are committed to assisting all members of the adoption triad throughout their lives to promote and strengthen family bonds, personal identity, and connection to birth heritage.
