AFMIT includes families who have adopted domestically, internationally, transracially, via open adoption, to single parents, older parents, younger parents, same-sex parents. We have a large and diverse group of families. The monthly meetings are a mix of general discussion about adoption issues; guest speakers; and special events. Adoptive Families Chat & Play
Has your family grown by adoption? Join us on the second Saturday of each month for an hour of fun and conversation with other parents and adoptive children. We'll have toys and free play for the youngsters and discussions and networking opportunities for parents to exchange ideas and information. Co-sponsored by Isis Maternity and the Newton Chapter of the Adoption Community of New England (ACONE). Group is FREE but RSVP is requested.

Korean Adoption Circle Playgroup
The Korean Adoption Circle Playgroup meets on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 10-12 noon, September - June, and the first Friday of the month only in July and August. The group meets at the Korean Presbyterian Church at 2 Main St. (near the intersection of Rte. 85 and Rte. 135) in Hopkinton; during July and August, the group will meet at the EMC Playground in Hopkinton. The KAC Playgroup has seasonal family outings and Ladies Nights Out, as well as a Book Club which meets monthly
