Counseling and Consultation

Post adoption counseling is part of our ongoing commitment to children and families and the recognition of adoption as a lifelong process. Our licensed clinical staff offers counseling and consultation to all members of the adoption triad. We provide assessments, file reviews, short term counseling, telephone consultation and educationally focused counseling to Wide Horizons' families. There are times when adoptive families need to access additional professional mental health services. It is critical that these professionals have expertise in adoption-related issues. We will try to assist families in identifying competent professionals in their geographic area.

Search and Reunion

We support and facilitate the process of search and reunion for all members of the adoption triad in both domestic and international adoptions. We respect the state laws regarding search as well as the policies of our international partners. We offer intermediary services to provide confidential exchanges of information.
