Thank you for choosing Wide Horizons For Children as your partner in the adoption journey! We know you are excited about moving ahead with your adoption plans, and we look forward to working with you. Please feel free to contact WHFC if you have any questions.
There are three steps to completing your application and home study requirements:
- Before submitting your application, please review the most recent adoption program and fee information.
- Return the WHFC APPLICATION PACKET A documents and check for $2,250 (Agency Fee - Part I) to us. Be sure to submit all required documents together.
- Once we receive your application, you will be assigned a social worker and begin the home study process. An approved home study is required before you can apply to a particular program (country from which you would like to adopt). You will complete PACKET B during your home study process, though you should feel free to start working on it right away.
Please note that if you are a returning client, the registration fee is waived; however, you are asked to resubmit the registration form and all Packet A and B documents.
WHFC has been approved by the Council on Accreditation (COA) as a national adoption service provider. Accreditation allows us to work with families adopting from other countries that are party to the Hague Convention on Protection of Children. This recognition demonstrates WHFC's commitment to children and families both here and abroad. The documents we require for the application and home study process have been prepared to address the requirements of the Hague Convention.
