WHFC Staff Login
Outlook Web Access
With Outlook Web Access (OWA), you can easily check and respond to e-mail, manage your calendar, and see other Microsoft Office Outlook items through your browser. In order to access this, you will be prompted for a user name and password. Simply enter your network user name and password with the first letter capitalized.

Remote Desktop Access
With the Citrix Remote Desktop application, you can remotely log in to your WHFC desktop from your home computer. In order to do so, you must have the following:
- A personal computer running a current version of Windows (Windows 2000, XP, 98, or ME) or a Mac OS.
- A high speed internet connection - either cable or DSL.
- Access to the internet using a current browser.
To install the ICA client
When you click on the link for the Remote Desktop, the login page will open in a new browser window. If you have not yet installed the ICA client on your computer, you will see a message on the log in page with a link to obtain the client.
When you click on this link, you will be asked if you want to open or save the software. Select "Open" to download and install the client. Once the installation is completed, you will need to close your browser. You can then link to the Remote Desktop application and log in.
Mac users: You will see this install message even after you have installed the web access client. Do not install the client a second time - you can simply login as instructed below.
Logging in to Citrix
In order to log in to your desktop, type your WHFC network user name in the log in box. You do not need to include "Waltham" as you do for OWA. You can then enter your password and your code followed by the randomly generated number from your Verisign token and click the "Log in" button.
To open your desktop, click on the Whfcdesktop icon shown. A new window will then open up with a connection to your WHFC desktop, and you can perform any of the tasks that you normally would from your desktop. Once you have your desktop open, you should close the window with the login page.

Logging out of Citrix
To log out of your session, click the Start button in the bottom left corner of your desktop window and choose "Log Off username". If you do not do this, your desktop session will still be active and you will be unable to log back in to your desktop from any other location for 60 minutes.
